Goldpoly New Energy Connects 10.8MW User On-Grid PV Project in Quanzhou

25 June, 2013 - Goldpoly New Energy Holdings Limited today announced that the Goldpoly 10.8MW User On-Grid PV Power Project of its subsidiary Goldpoly (Quanzhou) Science & Technology Industry Co., Ltd., successfully connected to the grid on 17 June 2013.

Located in Jinjiang Economic Development Zone, Quanzhou, Fujian Province, Goldpoly's PV Power Project is Fujian's first user on-grid PV project with surplus electricity connected to the grid.

The electricity generated is used for manufacturing and offices, and the surplus electricity is sold to the State Grid. The project is also a demonstrative solar project under the national Golden Sun subsidy program as well as the largest grid-connected PV power project in Fujian Province to date.

A total of 46,960 polysilicon modules are distributed installed on the vacant land and the rooftops on the buildings of the Goldpoly Science & Technology Park. Upon grid connection, it is expected the project will supply approximately 10.516 million/kWh of clean power per annum.
