SolarCity to Install 20MW Solar Project in San Diego
Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus announced today that Navy and Marine Corps housing units in the San Diego area will receive rooftop solar PV systems through a purchase power agreement between Lincoln Military Housing and SolarCity. The deal will provide solar power to nearly 6,000 homes across 27 privatized neighborhoods, with pending design and interconnection approvals could generate 20MW or more of solar energy. -

SolarReserve Finishes 96MW PV Project in South Africa
SolarReserve today announced that the 96MW PV Jasper solar power project completed construction and is fully operational, almost two months ahead of schedule. Yingli Green Energy Powers Bolivia's 5MW Solar Project
Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Yingli Spain has supplied over 5MW of solar panels for Bolivia's first solar power plant. Isotron installed more than 17,000 solar panels in the 5MW project, which is Bolivia's largest solar project and the world's largest storage-equipped hybrid PV-diesel project. -

PSEG and Juwi Finish 3.6MW PV Project in Vermont
PSEG Solar Source today announced that completion of the PSEG Essex Solar Energy Center. The facility is located roughly four miles northeast of Burlington, Vermont, and has a capacity of 3.6 MW-dc. The solar farm was developed and constructed by juwi solar Inc. It has a 25-year power purchase agreement with Vermont Electric Power Producers, Inc., as part of the Vermont Sustainably Priced Energy Enterprise Development program.
