Trina Solar Releases TrinaTracker Vanguard 600+ Series, Increasing Efficiency by 8%
Trina Solar Co., Ltd. ("Trina Solar" or the "Company") has released the TrinaTracker Vanguard 600+ series in China, a produce series that has passed TÜV and UL certifications, increasing energy efficiency by 2%-8%. TrinaTracker consists of two series of trackers, the Agile 600+ and the Vanguard 600+, which perfectly cater to leading 210mm ultra-high power 600W+ and 550W modules and continue the trend of 600W+ ultra-high power modules development in the industry. -

BayWa r.e. has announced the successful sale of two solar farms in Malaysia to a local renewable energy-focused independent power producer, reNIKOLA Sdn Bhd. The sale of the solar installations at Arau and Gebeng was conducted in two stages and finalised in December 2020. -

Lightsource BP 260MW Solar Project Begin Commercial Operation
Lightsource bp today announced that its Impact Solar project, located in Lamar County, 120 miles northeast of Dallas, has successfully completed construction and entered full grid-connected commercial operation. Through a long-term agreement, bp will sell the energy generated by the 260-megawatt (MW) project. The project represents an investment of $250 million in the Texas region, with 320 workers on site during construction – 84% of which were local hires. -

New Half-cell Module from Winaico for European Market
WINAICO Deutschland GmbH will introduce the new WINAICO WST-MG GEMINI module series to the European market from March 2021. The WST-MG GEMINI consists of 120 monocrystalline half cells and achieves a module efficiency of 20.6 % with dimensions of only 1,759 cm in height and 1,034 cm in width. -

Total and 174 Power Global have signed an agreement to form a 50/50 joint venture (JV) to develop 12 utility-scale solar and energy storage projects of 1.6 gigawatts (GW) cumulative capacity in the United States, transferred from 174 Power Global's development pipeline. -

BayWa r.e. Completed Two Floating Solar Parks in Netherlands
BayWa r.e., together with its Dutch partner GroenLeven, recently completed two floating solar parks in Nij Beets and Kloosterhaar, Netherlands. The sites combined contain more than 70,000 solar panels and a total capacity of 29.2 MWp, enough to supply 9,000 Dutch households with clean energy. -

تعتبر شركة فيلادلفيا بصفتها مصنعاً للألواح الكهروضوئية وهياكل أنظمة التركيب الشركة الأولى القائمة في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا لتصنيع وتطوير وتصميم وبناء وتملك وتشغيل محطات توليد الطاقة الكهروضوئية على نطاق المحطات التجارية والصناعية. تم اختيار الشركة لاستلام مشروع الحسينية بنظام العطاء المباشر من خلال وزارة الطاقة والثروة المعدنية وشركة الكهرباء الوطنية، وقامت الشركة بتصنيع ما يزيد عن مئتي ألفِ لوحٍ شمسي (330 واط)، حيث تم تصنيع آخرِ لوحٍ شمسي رقم 200،680 في مصنع فيلادلفيا للطاقة الشمسية في الأردن، وكانت المالك للمشروع مع شركةAMEA Powerمن الجدير بالذكر أن شركة الحسينية لتوليد الطاقة قامت بتأمين اتفاقية شراء الطاقة لمدة عشرين عامًا للمشروع، حيث سيتم بيع الكهرباء المولدة لشركة الكهرباء الوطنية الأردنية، ومن المُتوقع أن تكون الكهرباء المولدة كافية لتلبية احتياج 42000 من المنازل بطاقة نظيفة ميسورة التكلفة، وتجنب ما لا يقل عن 100000 طن من انبعاثات ثاني أكسيد الكربون سنويًا. -

Pivot Energy Completed a 1.3 MW of Solar System in Illinois
Pivot Energy and Joliet Junior College (JJC) announced today the completion and activation of a 1.3-megawatt (MW) onsite solar system at JJC's Main Campus. The solar array, which consists of 3,542 solar panels, was installed by Pivot Energy and will save the college more than $1.6 million in electricity expenses over 25 years.
